Cosmo: What’s the secret

to the perfect brow

shape?

Jazz Pampling: “J ust

Nature gave you, rather

than trying to create a

shape your brow is not

capable of.”

C: Should we go to an

expert or can we DIY?

JP: “S eeing a professional

to start you off with a

shape is a great idea. Once

I’ve shaped a brow, I show

my clients where to tweeze

and where not to tweeze,

so they have confidence to

groom at home.”

C: Your top tweezing tip?

JP: “Don’t try to create

perfection. Pencil in your

brows before tweezing so

you can clearly see the

shape you are trying to

create. If you make a

mistake, don’t try to fix it.

Put the tweezers down and

just pencil the gap in until

the hair grows back.”

C: Can we cut our brow

hairs?

JP: “Cutting hair can make

brows look very sharp. If

you want the sharpness,

brush the hair up and cut

in a straight line. But if you

want a more natural finish,

brush up and trim a couple

of hairs at a time.”

C: What can we do if wax

irritates us?

JP: “Just ask your therapist

to tweeze. I do a thorough

tweeze along the bottom

lines of the brow, then I

only tweeze the dark hairs

through the top.”
