Pet of the Month
Pet of the month
We know you’re huge fans of pets, so have us design a cross stitch of a beloved animal!
Q
Hi! I subscribe to
The World of
Cross Stitching
magazine and would love to see a
cavapoo as Pet of the Month. We have a
one-year-old cavapoo, Winnie, and can’t
seem to find any patterns of a cavapoo
anywhere. Here is a photo of Winnie for
you to see why there should be a pattern
of this beautiful breed. Thank you!

A
Durene says: Winnie is a little
treasure, Suzanne, and I thoroughly
enjoyed bringing her to life in stitches for
you. Her honey-coloured fur looks super
fluffy in your photo, while her ears look
strokably soft – I bet she gives great
cuddles on the sofa!
For this design, you’ll use whole
stitches, some fractionals for the eyes and
nose, plenty of backstitch to create the
fur, plus some French knots to add a
sparkle in Winnie’s eyes. I also added the
adorable bone-shaped collar around her
neck. Doesn’t she look cute? I hope you’ll
enjoy stitching this design and turning it
into a gorgeous picture for your home!
