Stanley made a come-
back to the multifinance
business with the estab-
lishment of PT Mandiri
Utama Finance in 2015.
The company is a joint
venture with the coun-
try’s largest lender PT
Bank Mandiri and PT
Tunas Ridean. In the
company, Bank Mandiri
holds a majority stake of
51%, Asco through PT
Asco Investindo holds
37%, and PT Tunas Rid-
ean 12%. Stanley is the
president director of the
company and with his
track record in grow-
ing Adira Multifinance,
it didn’t need much time
to get the business go-
ing. Loan disbursement
by the company jumped
from Rp 2.9 trillion in
2016 to Rp 7.3 trillion in- But last year, the
company decided to
cool down the growth to
maintain business pru-
dence and its non-per-
forming loan (NPL) ratio
stands at a healthy 0.8%.
“In 2018 we decid-
ed to hold our growth,
as our growth must be
handled properly and as
a new company we need
to consolidate first,”
Stanley says, adding that
this year the company
aims to disburse Rp 8.1
trillion in loans.

Respected Collector
Automotive business has deep root in Stanley’s family as his father has a
car workshop in Central Jakarta, it influenced Stanley to have a passion
towards the automotive world. Started to collect car models when he was
a child, now Stanley is a renowned collector for cars especially the classic
ones. Stanley has more than 50 classic cars, most of them are rare classics
such as a Jaguar E-Type and a Ferrari Dino. He likes to restore the cars
to its former glory and is a purist for it as he prefers a concourse restora-
tion, where the car is restored with its original part and specs like it was
fresh from the showroom. Stanley also likes to enjoy his cars to the fullest
whenever possible, lately he participated at the Ferrari Trans Java Tour
2019 where he drove his 458 Spyder more than 800 km from Jakarta to
Surabaya using the new Trans Java Toll Road. Stanley is also very active in
various car communities, especially since he is the chairman for the Bent-
ley Drivers Club Indonesia and Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club Indonesia.
