When the summer holidays are over
in the most European countries, it is
time for the 9th „Fantasy World of
Airbrush“ show in Grefrath/Germany
(close to the Dutch border). The popu-
lar exhibition takes place on August
24/25, 2019, showcasing the work of 65
arists from Germany, the Netherlands,
Belgium, France and Sweden. From hu-
man and animal portraits, illustration,
body painting to automotive art, the
whole range of airbrush art can be dis-
covered. Especially car and bike fans
will not only love the airbrush show,
but also the US Car and Bike show
which takes place outside the ice rink
hall, providing more than a congenial
framework.If you are also into airbrushing or at
least interested to start, you can gain
lots of inspiration and tips from the ex-
hibiting artists, but also get your handson a huge range of supplies, provided
by several airbrush supply stores and
companies such as AirbrushSchult, Kus-
tomStore, Lion-Art, Createx, Schmin-
cke, IBKK and Airbrush Step by Step
magazine. Information and consulting
will also be available at the booth of
the European airbrush association,
Airbrush-Fachverband e.V., which has
been supporting the event for recent
years.The event taking place at the ice rink in
Grefrath/Germany is open from 10-18h
on both event days. The entrance fee

From July 11th-13th, the Bodypainting
community will come from every cor-
ner of the planet to the Austrian town
of Klagenfurt. For the past 22 years,
the World Bodypainting Festival has
played host to participants and visitors
from 50 nations who have made their
way to Carinthia to see the naming of
a new World Champion each time. Du-
ring the 3-day long World Champion-
ships, further awards will be given in
the fields of Amateur Art and Make-
Up as well as in the 12 main categories including Airbrushing, Brush/Sponge
Work, Special Effects, etc., beside the
World Champion awards.Throughout the event, there’ll be a
heavy program full of art, music, and
shows for entertainment. Among the
main acts will be the bands Russka-
ja, Edwin & Edwin, Left Boy, Conchita
& Band as well as TMCA. Visitors can
enjoy a bodypainting and beauty fair,
an international food market, and
numerous children’s activities in ”Bo-
dypaint City“, located in Klagenfurt’s
Goethepark. The festival begins on
July 7th with a learn-and-party pro-gram. There will be several workshops
featuring experts on topics such as
bodypainting, photography, special
effects, and make-up. In addition, the
city will also host other exhibitions, ins-
tallations, and cultural events.A day ticket for one of the main festival
days will run you between 20 and 25
