UFO lights and details
It’s now time to give the flying saucer some light
effects. Since this UFO is a product of my imagination, I can
create the illumination and lighting any way I want. I’ve
decided to create teal-colored lights. Using fine tape, I co-
ver up thin lines, determining this with my own eyes. The
closer the lines, the wider they’ll be. The further away the
lines are, all that much thinner they’ll be. I then take white
and paint the lights, adding some fine thin gray crossed li-
nes with the paintbrush. After that, I remove the strips of
tape. I now spray these freed-up areas with Candy teal, also
using some Candy green on a couple of corners. I take a
loose curvy stencil to cover up some of the areas. I also add
a whole bunch of little details using fine paintbrushes and
gray paint. I then grab the airbrush again and add very small
white points of light into the windows there. I create a few
light points using a strongly diluted white while holding the
airbrush very close to the surface.

The floating girl
I begin by searching for a good position for the girl.
Using a loose paper stencil, I mark this position and spray on
some white and teal to create the glimmer of light around
the girl. Afterwards, I cover up the area with transparent
masking tape and spray on the girl’s shape with a self-made
skin tone. I’ve mixed together this hue using white, Candy
Root Beer, Apple Red, and yellow.
