Organic purple grape juice is
healthy, but high in sugar, and
daily consumption of wine is
not recommended due to the
adverse effects of alcohol.
In contrast, sugar-free
grapeseed extracts provide all
the beneficial effects of grapes
without the kilojoules in grape
juice or the alcohol from wine
(not to mention pesticide
residue and preservatives).
A grapeseed supplement
contains bioflavonoids,
which benefit the circulatory
system, as well as antioxidant
catechins, procyanidins
and proanthocyanidins.
It also provides the same
benefits as purple grape juice
or red wine: inhibition of
LDL- cholesterol oxidation
(the true reason cholesterol
is dangerous); antiplatelet activity;
protection of blood vessels by
blocking enzymes that break
down the lining of the capillaries
and supportive tissues that give
the blood vessels strength and
elasticity; and relaxation of the
blood vessels to assist blood flow.
Clinical studies using 150mg
to 350mg of supplements
containing procyanidins
showed improved vein
functionality in patients
with vein-related circulation
problems after several weeks.
These supplements also
significantly reduced the pain,
night-time cramps, and oedema
associated with poor circulation.
NOTE: As grapeseed extracts
may thin your blood further
if you are on warfarin, it is
important to speak to your
doctor before taking them.

HITCHING

POST

A true loving heart is looking for

a man who also has a true heart.

She believes in living life as a

blind date ... as we need no eyes

to see someone’s heart, goodness,

care, love, respect, loyalty, and

all the fun that comes with

romance. She is a novice poet and

writer, with a wondrous gypsy

romance and love for a good,

romantic guy. I am attractive, not

a beauty queen, but passion, fire

and goodness r un through my

body, mind, heart and soul. If you

are craving love for the rest of

your life, please write soon. You

should be very romantic, loving,

good and kind, and know how

to treat a lady. You may take a

drink, but not smoke at all. No

tempers allowed and your age

should be deep in your 70s or

80s; no younger please. Older

men give true love forever, and

I am a diamond, a very rare find,

and anxious to hear from you.

Blind Date, 6045

I am a 55-year-old, white widow

with no kids. I am a Christian

and don’t smoke or drink.

I love camping, the outdoors

and animals, especially dogs.

I believe in standing by my

man, and supporting his goals

in life. I’m loyal and not a party

animal, and am willing to

relocate for the right partner.

I am looking for a white man

between 55 and 70 years old. He

needs to be financially secure,

know how to treat a lady and love

dogs. I am looking for a long-
term relationship, so if you don’t
want to commit, don’t write.
All Yours, 9480

I am a retired KwaZulu-Natal
wildlife ranger, who has worked
in various areas for 35 years.
I love animals (I have two Border
collies) and get on very well with
people, especially those with a
sense of humour. Religion or race
do not bother me. I love travelling
by road, especially to Cape Town
and the Kruger National Park
and other game reserves. I also
love walking and swimming, and
watching sport, news and movies.
I would love to relocate to
near a beach or to a rural area.
I don’t drink or smoke, but
don’t mind anyone doing so
moderately, and I eat simple
food. I would sincerely
love to meet someone who
shares these interests.
The Lone Ranger, 3291

I am a widow who lives and
works on the East Rand. I am a
senior citizen, but age is just a
number. I play golf and bridge
and enjoy the movies, theatre
and social interaction. I am a
keen traveller to both local and
international destinations. It
would be nice to meet someone
special, aged 75 or older.
I am happy to be a friend,
with no commitment.
Independence is important.
