TAEKWONDO

At the European Universities Games in Lodz, the

competition in taekwondo welcomed 89 male and

74 female student athletes, that competed in many

different weight categories and styles, all of them eager

to win the title of European Universities champion.

After the first time taekwondo

has been incorporated into the

European Universities Games

program in 2016 at the Games

in Zagreb and Rijeka, this

year, once again, taekwondo

demostrated a great success.

Eighty-five universities were

represented in taekwondo

competition, coming from

different universities all over

Europe. They all competed to

the same high standard, with

fair play and equal will to win
