GLOW
Fri., Aug. 9, on Netflix

This season, the Gorgeous Ladies
of Wrestling leave Hollywood to
take on Sin City, where they’ve
been booked to headline the Fan-
Tan Hotel and Casino. But their
new gig doesn’t come without
a price: Ruth (Alison Brie) loses
focus on making the show a
success while dealing with her
personal drama; Debbie (Betty
Gilpin) becomes consumed with
mom guilt as the distance between
the production and her son
becomes too much; and Carmen
(Britney Young) struggles to
establish her own identity outside
the group.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 crew is back together — and they’re taking reboot
fever to a whole other level! OG castmates Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen
Doherty, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling
and Ian Ziering star as exaggerated versions of themselves in this
meta-dramedy about making a revival of their hit ’90s show. While a pivotal
piece of the puzzle will be missing, the group plan to honor their late costar,
Luke Perry, who passed away in March at the age of 52, at some point in the
scripted series. And despite his absence, “he’s been with us every step of
the way,” Garth insists.

Priestley jokes that the show is
“a bunch of middle-aged people
trying to go back and recapture
the magic of their youth.”
