When we arrivedIwas told that two
fellow scooterists had decided to use the
main hall on the campsite to get married
and everyone was invited. Is thereabetter
venue than ascooter rally to get married?their choice of drink. This, we likealot.
No pressure, happy staff, happy punters.
With everyone fully fuelled up, either it
was time for the silent disco or to head
back to the tent and get some well-needed
rest ready for Saturday’santics. I
personally chose the latter;Iwas more
than ready for it, although the hooting owl
that was also camped next me didn’t help
with the much-needed sleep.
Saturday morning came along and for
most it was straight up to the main hall or
food van to get some breakfast before
showering and attempting to cure their
hangovers, ready for the inevitable round
two. As everyone was slowly coming round,
there are two things that areamust before
kicking off the afternoon withaload more
booze. Obviously,I’m talking about the
parts stalls and the ever-so-impressive
Custom Show.Aswewalked to the main
hall there were stalls on either side,
creatingapath to the venue. There was
plenty to see and more than plenty to buy,
from clothes to scooter parts, and sweets
toatattoo. There wasastrong collection
of scooters in the main hall surrounded by
keen and eager-eyed scooter boys and
