Binomial Name: Streptopelia tranquebarica
The Red Turtle Dove is a common resident bird of Bangladesh. Available in all divisions,including the Sundarbans. They can be found in bushes, arable lands, open fields, and
other areas. They usually roam in pairs or small groups. Eats food by walking on the ground.The food list includes grass seeds, weeds, and grains. Their breeding season is throughout
the year. They lay their eggs by making nests on the tree's leafy branches with grass andleaves.
