The Pale-chinned Blue Flycatcher is a rare
resident insectivorous bird of Bangladesh.Commonly found in mangrove forests and
evergreen forests in Chittagong, Khulna, andSylhet divisions. They are usually alone in
winter. They search for food in bushes,
undergrowth, and open forest litter.Sometimes it flies to the forest surface to
hunt for food and quickly descends. Theyonly eat insects. Nesting time is from April
to June. At this time, they make a nest on
the ground by spreading moss, deadinsects, thin grass, and roots on the trunk
of dead trees and laying eggs.
