Binomial Name: Anthus rufulus
The Paddyfield Pipit is a small bird of the Wagtail family. Common resident bird ofBangladesh. They roam the grasslands, agricultural lands, villages, fallow lands of all
divisions of the country usually singly or in small and isolated flocks. They run fast in thegrasslands in search of food. Small insects are their main food. However, apart from insects,
small snails, worms, insects like flying mosquitoes or termites can also be caught in dung.The Paddyfield Pipit breeds throughout the year, but is mainly seen during the dry season.
