The color of the head is like a black cap, which is why the fKingfisher is easily recognizable.The Black-capped Kingfisher is a common migratory bird of Bangladesh. In winter, it
is found in mangrove forests and evergreen forests of the Barisal, Chittagong,andKhulna divisions. It usually roams alone or in pairs. Observe the prey in
the mud from somewhere on the water and come down to catch it.Sometimes they jump into the water to catch prey. The food list includes
insects, crabs, fish, frogs, lizards, and other small animals.
