is for... into
the WILD
Honouring nature in all its raw
beauty has quickly become Simone
Rocha’s MO. For the designer’s
latest contribution to Moncler’s
Genius project she was thinking
about girl guides and protection
in the wilderness – her tent capes
done in blush with red and pearly
headpieces have us completely
rethinking camping attire. With the
signature Simone Rocha femininity
entwined with the utilitarian
practicality of Moncler, the legacy
brand known for its lightweight
après ski jackets, the collection
is a reminder to us all to stop and
appreciate the great outdoors.
“I am inspired by the plants and
flowers around me – whether that
is my garden at home or at the
flower market on Columbia Road
or Marylebone in London,” says
Rocha. “I’m also inspired by the
landscapes in Ireland where
I grew up.” Time to step outside.

is for... adopting a
ZERO-waste policy
Market stalls and Etsy purges are ways
to make sure your unwanted clothes
don’t end up in landfill. Airtasker has
teamed up with eBay so you can even
outsource selling your clothes online –
or find out if a local fashion college
could re-use them. E
