clinched the title to deny a massive field in a very popular bracket.

Glenn Wooster was not a factor in eliminations, however, during the Winternationals
test session weekend, he hit 196mph on a 7.120 pass and turned heads.

double-up, with trophies for the Winternationals
and the Championship for Pro-Alcohol.

to Glen Hurley. His strong burnouts, wheelstanding
launches and 8.1-second rides were entertaining
Geoff Gradden earned his first 5.7 in Pro Slammer
during qualifying in an impressive pairing with Scott
McLean, who also ran in the ’70s. Gladden’s 5.77 and
McLean’s 5.78 secured the 2nd and 3rd positions.
A .017 light coupled with a 9.257 on a 9.21 dial
in, will generally turn on a win light. For Dereck
Brooks, these were his final round numbers, and he
did indeed get the super tough Super Sedan win.
