At first, it may look like your

average market but it has a very

special history. It is one of the oldest

all-women markets, possibly in the

whole of Asia. All the shopkeepers

are women and hence the name

‘Ima Keithel’, which literally

translates to ‘mother’s market’. It

is also the best places to get your

hands on some authentic quality

weaves.
