his technique of casting silver bullion

in a cuttlefi sh is a method of creating

one-use fabulous unique textured

shapes. The hot silver captures the grain of the

cuttlefi sh perfectly. This whole process is an

ideal way to create a special shaped pendant –

or, as I am showing you here, several beautiful

organic shaped beads.

MATERIALS & TOOLS

● Cuttlefi sh

● Wire

● Sterling or fi ne silver casting grain

● Scorifi er and holder

● Gas torch

● Borax

● Binding wire

● Crafting tools (or similar)

● Watercolour brush

● Mole grips

● Drill

● Hacksaw (or similar)

● Coarse sandpaper
