THE MX-5 OWNERS CLUB

Spring Rally at Elvington

wasn’t all about trying to

break records. There were also

trade stands – Total MX-5 was

there! – a concours, track

sessions, an Autosolo course, a

Mazda-sponsored driving

challenge, and the UK

unveiling of the new 30th

Anniversary edition of the

mk4.

As ever, the car park was an

MX-5 spotter’s paradise,

replete with the standard and

the wildly modded, the eye-

searingly shiny and the

endearingly shabby, and

everything in between.

And it was yet another great

example of the MX5OC doing

what it does so well – bringing

together thousands of

passionate MX-5 enthusiasts

for a catch-up, an exchange of

ideas, inspiration, and the

chance to admire other

people’s cars.
