Eunos Roadster Mk1 MX-5
Imported from Japan in 2004,
1992 model with many luxury
factory extras. I have invested a
lot into the car by keeping it
maintained and mechanically
strong, including all serviceable
items. Only bad points are
paintwork poor, aerial does not
rise, a/c ran out of gas. Drives
superbly with roughly 125,000
miles, I have ran it on only
Supreme fuel for a whole year,
and has recently passed MOT
13/5/19, flying through
emissions test too. The black
mohair soft top was brand new
around 3 years ago and has a
heated rear glass screen, no
leaks. 3 keys, all paper copies of
previous MOTs since the car
was imported in 2004, spare
wheel, original tool set and jack,
various receipts for work and

The car has had a lot of work
done to it, last owner spent
about £9K, got all paperwork to
prove it, full logbook. It’s got
central locking, power steering,
electric windows, leather seats
with speaker built into them.
I’ve done the thermostat, front
bumper respray as lacquer was
coming off with its age, got 2
months’ MOT left but will pass
next one flying colours, the sills
are still original, no rust at all,
got advisory on last MOT saying
sills are starting to rust on the
outside, but only surface rust so
had them sorted. All under the
car has been undersealed, had a
new Mk2 roof with heated glass

I bought this recently to save it
from being scrapped for a few
bits of trim I wanted off it for
my car. Not currently MOT’d
and would require some welding
to get through an MOT again,
but nothing too terrible. It’s a
one owner car (plus me), totally
original and comes with service
book, limited edition wallet etc,
sadly no receipts but plenty of
history in the stamped service
record. Driver’s leather seat is
near mint (very rare), OZ alloys
are all present and correct (very
