SPRINT
In June, we attended the chaos that was
the Nickelodeon 2019 Toy Sprint at Toys
R Us in the Mall of Africa. Four lucky
kids got to run through the shop and fill
up a trolley with anything they desired in
60 seconds. And they really made that
precious minute count, leaving with
drones, consoles and much more. These
finalists now join eight others to fight it
out for the top spot, which will see them
travel to Singapore to do a toy dash

BY KIDSWe were lucky enough to send two readers
to Makro Top Rated by Kids in June. Jenna
and Mikayla got to test toys that have never
been seen in South Africa before, and rate
them. They were also treated to a fun day,
with giveaways, awesome food, face
painting, balloon animals and carnival
games. There were more than 200 children
there, so it was busy and fun! They aren’t
allowed to tell anyone about the toys
because they are top secret, but the winning
toy will be announced in October. Keep an
