The Best Little
Prison in Britain?
● DOCUMENTARY / 8pm (times vary) / ITV
NEW
Step inside Britain’s most extraordinary little
prison – Jurby Jail on the Isle of Man – where
there’s one guard to every prisoner. In this first episode,
we meet Lorraine. Serving three years for knife crime,
she’s not lonely as her boyfriend, brother and best mate
are also doing time in Jurby for various crimes. HHHTE

● FILM / 11.05pm / Film4
Here’s Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy both playing
to their strengths – he’s the overgrown slacker dude
babysitting newly single mum McCarthy’s kid, which
goes against every instinct in his body. It’s a rule of movies
that when a cute kid meets a grumpy curmudgeon, there’s
only one way things can go. So expect no surprises from
this charmer with a heart so gooey it really benefits from
grouchy Bill and acerbic Melissa’s presence. HHHHSM

Fred Sirieix takes
a very familiar face
off to France for
a gourmet tour
● FOOD / 8pm / BBC2
There’s a lovely reunion on
the cards for Fred Sirieix, as he
catches up with his old boss,
two-Michelin-starred chef
Michel Roux Jr, on a journey to
Paris to sample the culinary
delights of the City of Light.
Fred is thrilled when Michel
takes him to the swanky and
rather pricey La Tour D’Argent
- speciality, pressed duck –
and he also gets a peek at the
restaurant’s impressive wine
cellar, which was saved from
Nazi invaders in World War
Two. Later on, the boys track
down some more affordable
delicacies, including the best
baguettes in Paris, and Michel
even tries his hand at making
some himself for the very first
time! Then it’s off to a top
brasserie for a classic seafood
platter. Yum! HHHHCC
