TV TIMES 9
TWO BUDS
Tony Audenshaw and co-star Emma Atkins step out from behind
the Woolpack bar as Bob and Charity man an alfresco drinking spot.
Rye and bourbon were popular drinks in the Wild West, as was
cactus wine – a mix of tequila and a psychoactive tea made from the
roots of the peyote cactus. Is that what’s in those cowboy cocktails?
TYING
THE
KNOT
Amy Walsh is all
smiles as a crew
member adjusts
her neck scarf. But
Amy will soon be
seen screaming as
her character Tracy
is trapped in a fire.
‘There’s heartbreak
ahead,’ teases
executive producer
Jane Hudson.
‘Tracy’s life is never
going to be the
same again.’
H AT ’ S
T H E WAY!
Anthony Quinlan doffs his
Stetson and gives us a cheeky
wink as he’s transformed
from farmer Pete Barton
to a cowboy.
PERFECT
P R I YA
A member of the hair
and make-up team
swoops in to perfect
Fiona Wade’s hair
ahead of a scene.
Fiona, who plays Priya
Kotecha, looked every
inch the pretty maiden
in her floral dress,
teamed with a parasol.
But it was surprisingly
chilly, and when the
cameras weren’t
rolling, she covered
up in her official
Emmerdale anorak.
HELLO,
KITTY!
As Samantha Giles
checks the script with a
crew member, she tells
us: ‘Bernice is dressed
as a character called
Miss Kitty, the owner
of a saloon bar. I think
she’s an ex-prostitute!’
The actor adds that
the trickiest bit of her
costume is her whale-
net tights. ‘They
have big holes, so it’s
hard to get them on
because your feet go
straight through!”
