8 bucks for my foot-long, the gentleman behind the

counter asked for my autograph. I wrote my name

and he said, ‘Oh, you’re not Brad Pitt?’ I was wearing

a hat and these mirrored sunglasses that I think Brad

Pitt had worn in Fight Club or something like that and

I said, ‘No, I’m on a soap opera.’ He said, ‘Okay,’ and

very casually took the piece of paper with my auto-

graph on it, which I’m fairly confident ended up in the

bottom of a wastebasket after I left.”
