Sometimes there is

nothing for it but to get

over there yourself and

check there is no weed,

stick or wetsuit glove

jamming it up...

ometimes that pesky daggerboard just won’t do what you want it to.

You turn o the wind at the  rst mark, reach forward to drag it up

a tad and...ugh!  e bleeding thing is stuck, again!  en you get

to the downwind mark and it’s time to ram that slab of reinforced

plastic home, but...dammit, will it move? Sometimes there is nothing

for it but to get over there yourself. Get underneath where the action is and

sort things out. Give that bloomin daggerboard a good rattle, check there is no

weed, stick, wetsuit glove or lawd knows what else that might be jamming it up,

then get back upright and sail on. Phew! Who designed this thing anyway?
