DWYANE HASKINS,

Did you realize football cards was such
a big business and the Rookie Premiere
was such a big organized event?
“It’s a really big deal. I’m really excited about it and
to have my picture on a card. It’s something I’ve always
dreamed about. I’m excited to see what the fi nal product
will be. I’m just blessed to be here.”
What rookie would you choose to build a Rookie
Card collection of?
“Of course myself, Bosa, Parris Campbell, Terry McLau-
rin. My new teammate Bryce Love. Benny Snell would be a
good card to have. And N’Keal Harry.”
What cards of yours this weekend have you
thought were cool or unique?
“Th ey had some jerseys inside the card, so that was pretty
cool. I’ve never seen those before.”
You guys sign a ton of cards here. How important is it
to give fans a good-looking signature?
“You want to be as neat as possible. You defi nitely want to give
people something they can read, recognize and feel excited about
when they receive it.”
Did you ever collect cards of any particular players or
teams?
“I collected a lot of cards—football, basketball, Pokémon,
Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I had all the Pokémon balls, deck sliders, all the
stuff .”
Are you going to swap jerseys with anyone in the NFL?
“I defi nitely want to swap with some of the Ohio State guys
and some NFL friends I’ve met throughout this process. I think it
will be really cool for me to have some stuff of close friends and
former teammates in my man cave.”
What have the Redskins coaches told you about why
they decided to draft you?
“Just the West Coast off ense, my timing and anticipation in
that off ense. I think I will do really well in it.”
What all-time player would you most want to be on a
football card with?
“Michael Vick, I’d love to be on his trading card. His, or War-
ren Moon’s trading card.”
What players still at Ohio State should collectors watch
out for the next couple years?
“Jeff Okudah, Chase Young and JK Dobbins.”
What will you miss most about college football?
“I’m just going to miss the camaraderie and being as close as
we were. I’m not saying the NFL isn’t close, but when you’re in
college you live in a dorm room with a guy, and now in the NFL
guys have wives and kids. Th ey go home to a diff erent life. In col-
lege, pretty much everyone is around each other.”
