THE TWO-YEAR-OLD COUPLE
When Cherie* and Simon* first met each
other four years ago, they never thought
that they’d end up together. They were
both course mates in school and common
interest brought them closer. Over time,
romance sparked between the two but it
wasn’t after they officially became a couple
that they took the 36 questions test to see
if it had any impact on their relationship.
“Simon and I decided to try the quiz
shortly after we got together. Although
we’d known each other for about a year,
this was one of the first times we hung out
as an actual couple and wanted to know if
the quiz would be good for us. I remember
the questions were quite personal and
deep, but it was nice to have a solid
conversation with him.
“I think it’s worth knowing the answers
to the questions to make sure you’re
compatible with your partner, like if
someone has a completely different answer
to you then you might not really be that
well-matched. I remember that Simon’s
and my answers were along the same page
and we had similar views on some of the
questions, which was nice to know.
“Prior to taking the quiz, I felt that
I knew Simon pretty well and sort of
expected the both of us to have the
same kind of outlook on life, so it didn’t
make me feel differently about him after
the quiz. I don’t think it affected our
relationship much at all, just that we got
to know each other a bit more on a higher
level and we’re still together two years later!”
