This fashionista’s OOTDs are as quirky as they
can get! Fully embodying her Instagram persona
@reikotherainbowgirl out loud, Reiko flaunts holographic
arm candies, chunky kicks and poufy dresses to match
her ever-changing hair colour. “I switch it up every two
months on average and to be honest, even my friends
can’t keep up these days!” she says. As a hat lover, Reiko
uses berets and fedoras to amp up her looks. Whether
she’s settling for a girlie or androgynous pairing for the
day, she says that there’s a pair of trainers for every look.
“Gone are the days when people thought that wearing
frocks with sneakers is weird, and I love that!” she adds.
If you’re wondering where Reiko gets her clothes
from, there’s no definitive answer as she likes to
experiment with different brands. However, if she had
to pick a few favourites, they would be Atelier Melson
for its gorgeous dresses, Uniqlo for the comfiest wearables
and Yohji Yamamoto for its chic monochromes. This
influencer has a thing for big, bold earrings too, as they
go well with her striking locks and complete her looks
instantly. “When I’m not out in funky hues, I’d go for
a variety of patterns. Aside from polka dots, I love the
traditional Japanese art design called Ukiyo-e, especially
when it has modern touches to it,” she concludes.
