Toyota Avanza
In a bid to keep its small MPV fresh, Toyota has
given the Avanza a cosmetic makeover. The
front features a new grille and a split-headlamp
design, while the sporty rear comes with new
taillamps with a chrome splitting the lamps,
a fin-type antenna, and a new bumper.
Rounding out the design changes are the new
15-inch alloy wheels and side mirror-integrated
turn signals for select variants.
Inside, there’s a redesigned instrument panel,
an updated infotainment system (the 1.5-liter
models get steering wheel-mounted controls
and a 6.8-inch touch panel display), and a digital
air conditioning control panel. For safety, dual
SRS airbags, anti-lock brake system with EBD
(electronic brakeforce distribution), 3-point ELR
seatbelts for all seats, and ISOFIX child seat
restraint system are standard across the line.
This 7-seater MPV comes with either a 1.5L
engine (Veloz and G variant) with a maximum
output of 103hp or a 1.3L engine (E and J
variants) with a maximum 95hp output.
These engines are mated to either a 4-speed
automatic or 5-speed manual gearbox.
