The color pink has been known to evoke feelings of love and happiness, and when I first came across the new Vivo V15 in

its limited edition Blossom Pink color, I felt exactly those two things. Perhaps it’s my bias toward the color, but this phone is

absolutely a thing of beauty. You get the urge to touch it once you lay your eyes on it. But is its beauty only skin-deep?

For its price range, the Vivo V15 Blossom Pink delivers just enough performance.

Actually, it’s no different than the other colors of the V15 so you will really only go

for this for the novelty of its colorway. And that’s not a bad thing at all, because

it comes packaged with two shades of Benefit Cosmetics blush worth at least

P1,000 each. If you’re all about upgrading your tech-lifestyle in general, then this

is a good buy.

Of course, the most

obvious feature

of the Vivo V15

Blossom Pink is

its dainty shell

colored in a dreamy

pink gradient. It’s a

perfect accessory

for anyone who

loves the hue.

Plus, it comes with

a free jelly case in

the box, too, so you

don’t need to worry

about scratching

it with your freshly

manicured nails

or whatnot.

As with its series siblings, the V15

Blossom Pink also comes with a

triple rear camera and the signature

elevating front camera with 32MP

resolution for clear-as-day selfies even

during night time or in low-lit settings.

The camera system has Pro, Panorama, and Night modes, and an

AI Beauty feature that not only corrects imperfections on the face

but also lets you edit the body to make it appear slimmer. Another

cool camera feature is the Jovi Image Recognizer, which detects

the exact item you took a photo of and provides shopping links to

online e-commerce sites such as Shopee and Lazada.

Compared to the V15

Pro, the V15 Blossom

Pink does not

respond as fast and

tends to take a little

bit longer to load

larger apps. I tried

playing LifeAfter

and I can definitely

notice the lag even

at medium settings.

You may have to

sacrifice graphics

quality in order to

play smoothly.

As for video viewing, the Vivo V15 Blossom Pink delivers punchy

colors and clear images. As always, the unobstructed full view

display is highly appreciated. While the brightness settings are

just enough for comfortable viewing even under the sun or in

a brightly lit room, I find watching dark videos harder as the

brightness settings only offer as much.
