slingshot (or Wrist Rocket) can be a very handy item to
have on a bow hunt. Aside from just being fun to plink
at beer cans, a slingshot has some practical applications.
Ever been confronted with a fat pheasant or a squirrel sitting
on a tree limb that was growing on the lip of a canyon? That’s
where I usually see them. You know that if you shoot an arrow
and miss, you will never find your arrow. This is a good place
to employ a slingshot. There have been many occasions where I
wanted to shoot some type of varmint but didn’t want to sacrifice
a freshly sharpened broadhead. Again, this is a good time to pull
out the slingshot.
