It’s a tournament
famous for itsupsets, and
Wimbledon certainly hasn’tlet us down this year. Who’d
have thought Venus Williams
would be knocked out in thefirst round by a 15-year-old?
And that top players like StanWawrinka and Dominic Thiem
would fail to reach the second
week? There have been goodsurprises, too, of course –
what a pleasure to watch Andy
Murray step on to Centre Courtwith Serena Williams as his
doubles partner! All of it comesdown to this very special
winners’ weekend as the finals
take place in front of an excitedcrowd at SW19, with the
women’s today and the men’s
tomorrow. Could this be theyear for brand-new champions
to emerge? HHHHHEB

This week’s victims of Harry Hill’s unique brand of
ribbing are Sarah Greene, Charlie Dimmock, Kelly Brook
and Warwick Davis. As well as embarrassing footage
from their TV careers, there’s also a rap about Kent’s
Medway towns and a skit involving a horse and a rubber
chicken. At the start, Harry declares, ‘If ever there was
a show living on borrowed time, this is it.’ As long as it’s
this funny, we wouldn’t be so sure about that. HHHHMHCasualty

Brilliant and formidable as Connie is, she’s not invincible.
Ciaran (Rick Warden) has really got under her skin, and
her anxiety is getting worse as his list of demandsgrows.
With Archie plotting behind her back and Hanssen no
support, she’s at breaking point and probably not safe to
practise. Meanwhile, there’s a prison riot; it wouldn’t be
Casualty without an implausible guest story. HHHHEB
