ince strutting into the
villa, Francesca Allen
has proved to be
a fun and feisty
Islander. After coupling
up with Curtis Pritchard
under the watchful eye of
love rival Maura Higgins,
poor Fran got pied when he
ditched her for the Irish model.
However, Fran’s friend of four
years, TOWIE star Chloe Ross,
says she’s better off without the
ballroom dancer – and thinks
Fran, 23, handled the situation
perfectly.
Instead, Chloe wants to see
her pal with someone “more
manly”. Hmm... maybe Michael
ticks that box? “She needs
someone who would take
control, whereas Curtis seems
quiet,” she tells us. “She hasn’t
got a type looks-wise, but they
have to have humour and
a good personality.”
Here, Chloe, 27, also opens
up about who Fran could fall for
and that Caroline Flack tweet...Hi Chloe! Do you think we’ve
seen the real Francesca in
the villa?
Yeah. She’s very bubbly and
a good person to be around.
She’s very classy too. She
doesn’t have a bad bone in her
body. I think she’s done really
well – especially when she had
to give the boys a lap dance on
one of her first nights in the villa.
I don’t know how she did it!
She seems really chilled out.
Does she have a fiery side?
She can definitely hold her own.She’s not scared to go for what
she wants, like when she
picked Curtis. But she’s not
one to start a row either.
What did you think of her
going in and coupling up
with Curtis?
He’s a good-looking boy and
has good chat, but the more
I watched the more I thought
he wasn’t for her. I think she’s
better off without him. She
needs someone who’s more
of a manly man.
Was she more upset than she
let on when he chose Maura
over her?
I think she held herself really
well in that situation. It seemed
like she wasn’t bothered about
it. She’s not going to want to
go with someone who isn’t
interested in her anyway.
She got on well with Chris.
Could that blossom into
a romance?
I suppose it could, but it seems
like it’s just a friendly thing.
They came in together so they
were in the same boat and built
up a good friendship. But you
never know.She was praised for going
make-up free and showing
her acne scars. Is she
a confident girl?
Definitely. She’s a naturally
pretty girl so why not embrace
it? It’s nice that she has a
personality where she doesn’t
really care what people think
about her looks. She has nothing
to hide – she looks lovely.
What did you think about
the reports that Francesca
called Caroline Flack
a “dirty paedo” in 2012,
back when she’d been
dating Harry Styles?
I didn’t really think anything
of it. Everyone makes mistakes
when they’re younger. I’m sure
Francesca wouldn’t have meant
it in a nasty way. If I was the
same age as Caroline and
Harry wanted me, I wouldn’t
say no either!
Will it be awkward when
they eventually come face
to face?
I’m sure it’ll be alright. It was
ages ago.
As she’s an Essex girl,
could you see Francesca
joining the TOWIE cast
after Love Island?
She knows a couple of us,
like Georgia Kousoulou and
Tommy Mallet. She has
a good personality so I think
she’ll go far.

Does he prefer being in
a relationship?
The whole time I’ve known him
he’s had a girlfriend.
Tell us about his ex...
I think they were in love, for sure.
How did it end?
He was with her and then
he wasn’t. I knew they were
loved-up because they were
always together and lived
together for a bit. She was
from Rugby, but went to live
with him in Liverpool.
Was he heartbroken when
they split up?
We’ve spoken a few times
about it, but he’s quite a
private person.
He likes to work out in the
villa. Is looking good important
to him?
Yes! He competes in body building
shows, so that’s a big part of
his life. It’s hard in the villa
because you only get 15 minutes
a day to train. When you wake
up in the morning you go down
to the gym, but then the producers
can come and tell you to stop
training depending on what
they’ve got planned. He might
be struggling with that.
