abriel Macht is feeling fairly content
as Suits returns for its ninth and final
season (starts Thu., Jul. 18 at 8.30pm;
Universal). “Everyone’s got a very
positive, upbeat, creative push moving
intothese last couple months,” says the actor,
whoplays maverick lawyer Harvey Specter.
A significant portion of Macht’s invigoration
canbe attributed to the return of his former
partner-in-winning, Patrick J. Adams. The actor- who left at the end of Season 7 – is back as
brilliant lawyer Mike Ross in the season’s fifth
episode. Macht was so excited to see Adams
onhis first day back on set that he risked ruining
hissleek bespoke look when they reunited in
thehair and makeup trailer.
“He’d just gotten a haircut. I was worried
about getting flakes of hair all over my wardrobe,
butit didn’t matter. I gave him a hug anyway,”
