Hack targets
student data
HACKERS targeted one of
Britain’s top universities in
a “sophisticated and
malicious” cyber attack.
Fake invoices were sent
to undergraduate appli-
cants and a “small number”
of students had record and
ID documents accessed.
Lancaster University
said it set up an incident
team after learning of the
breach last Friday and was
contacting those affected.
It said compromised
data included names,
addresses and telephone
numbers from undergrad-
uate applicants for the
2019 and 2020 intakes.
Ex-judge
dragged
off to jail
SHOCKING video captures the
moment an ex-judge had to be
dragged out of a US courtroom.
Tracie Hunter, 52, who worked
in juvenile courts, got six months
in jail after being found guilty of
trying to pass secret documents
to her brother Stephen, who was
facing the sack from his job as a
youth jail guard.
On Monday, her appeals ran
out and she went limp with
shock as a court in Hamilton
County, Ohio, sentenced her.
Her supporters accused staff
of treating her “like an animal”.
