his is a new version of this neat armoured
car currently available from ICM and
Revell, who both have VARIENTS ON THE
market, and this time it is presented with a revised turret
and armed with a 47mm main gun. The vehicle itself was a
captured French Panhard armoured car pressed into German
service in 1940/1941 and was quite an advanced design for
the time with around 300 of them being put into use by the
German Army. Some were sent to the Eastern Front as part
of Operation Barbarossa with various modiications, whilst
others were used for security and anti-resistance duties
throughout the war.
The build begins with a pleasant surprise,
as the kit is supplied with a basic
interior and decent engine
bay detail. In fact the irst
