Guests at a luxury hotel
say ‘Om’ with lovable
little lemurs
KESWICK, ENGLAND
Planning a getaway? Consider the Lemur
Experience at the Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa,
whose outdoor Lemoga classes—or yoga with
lemurs—at the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park
recently lit up the Internet. “It seemed to be a
good combination to encourage people to spend
time with a lemur,” Richard Robinson, manager of
the park, told the BBC. “Lemurs do some form of
the poses naturally—that typical pose warming
their bellies in the sunshine.” The yoga classes
have since been put on hold, but the hotel’s wildlife
program still offers time to feed the lovable lemurs
and have them sit on your lap.
