Award nominees for Best Documentary. We’re proud to have been a part of such

a groundbreaking – and award-winning – film.

In the all-or-nothing world of free solo climbing, there are no second chances.

The same was true for filmmaker Jimmy Chin when he sought to ducment the

first ever free climb of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park by Alex Honnold for

his latest Film, “Free Solo.” Using Canon’s EOS C300 Mark II camera and an array

of Canon Cinema Lenses gave Jimmy the versatility, quality, and perspective that

he needed to properly convey the stakes of this amazing feat.
