- SIĘ is like D of the DP, or more specifically, they are elements of the same type.
However, unlike D with [iR], which is associated definiteness, SIĘ is associated
with the lack of it. - In both constructions agreement marking on the verbs is established by default.
- The null subject DPs in the two constructions can only occur in those environ-
ments where nominative case can be assigned to them.
