Liverpool fan
can finally cut
hair after loss
A CROP-haired Liverpool
fan who decided to let it
grow until they lost a
league match has finally
cut it – after nine months.
Luke Stangroom, 43,
made the vow after his
team won the Champions
League in June last year.
But little did he know
the Reds were 17 games
into what would turn out
to be a 44-game unbeaten
run in the Premier League.
Luke got the chop on
Sunday after they lost 3-0.
The forklift driver, from
Norwich, said: “I’ve been a
skinhead as long as I can
remember because I’m
receding quite badly.
“It was only a joke and I
only thought it would last
a couple months.
“Towards the end I was
wanting a haircut quite
badly. It did look a mess.”
