TraWorld Magazine 3rd Edition

(Travel & Tourism Management Course - GICED1iqxRY) #1

By 3 PM, we had finished exploring all the
caves in Ellora, and we were running late for
our planned schedule. We had lunch at a
nearby restaurant and had initially planned to
visit Devgiri Fort. However, we were all
exhausted and behind schedule, so we
decided to return to Sambhaji Nagar. Along the
way, we stopped for tea and snacks. En route
to Bibi Ka Maqbara, we received the news of
Chandrayaan-3's successful landing on the
Moon, which was a moment of celebration for
all of us.

Later, we reached Bibi Ka Maqbara and had
an amazing opportunity to witness the sunset
from this beautiful monument. Often referred to
as the Mini Taj of India and Taj of Deccan, Bibi
Ka Maqbara is built similarly to the Taj Mahal
of Agra. What makes it unique is that it is
illuminated with warm yellow light during the
night, creating a picturesque view. The
monument is open until 9 PM for the public.

With our return train to Mumbai scheduled at
11:30 PM, we planned to stay at Bibi Ka
Maqbara until 8:30 PM. This time, we made
sure we had reserved seats and booked tatkal
tickets one day before our departure, luckily
securing confirmed tickets. We explored the
monument, took pictures, and played games in
the complex to make this trip memorable.
Later, we went to Sambhaji Nagar Railway
Station, had dinner, and concluded this
amazing 2-day trip.
