Kathy Huncosky has been
a general Kâ8 educator, as
well as a science education
specialist for the Madison
Metropolitan School
District. She serves as
the professional learning
specialist on the Making
Sense of SCIENCE team
and as the Wisconsin
Site Coordinator for
an i3 (Investing in
Innovation) grant. Kathy
is connected to the STEM
network in Wisconsin and
across the country, and
collaborates with science
leaders to develop plans
that meet their unique
district, school, and
individual needs. She also
participates on a state-
level team that creates
model lessons and units
for teachers implementing
the NGSS.
