WHICH COMBINATION WORKS FOR YOU?
TOP 3 CHOICES
THE COMBINATION
MICROWAVE OVEN
This multitasking oven combines the power of oven
technology with the speed of a microwave. The pros are
numerous: the compact size and dual heating methods
mean you save on space and cooking time, making
them perfect for modern, fast-paced lifestyles. “They’re
particularly good at high-temperature cooking like
roasting meat and baking pastries or casseroles,” says
brand manager Maja Pejovic of Bosch. Its convenience
does come at a price, explains Maja. “With a separate
microwave and oven, you can use both together, but
with a combined appliance, you’re limited to one at
a time. Size is another big factor,” she says. “Most are
45cm compared to 60cm and although larger models
are coming through, cavity size can still be limited.”
“Before purchasing,
double-check you’re
buying a combination
microwave oven rather
than a microwave with
hot air function to make
sure you get the right
set of features,” says
Maja Pejovic.
