OUTDOOR CONNECTION Karen, Rudi and the kids love
visiting the home whenever they can. “When we’re here, the kids
play in the hot tub, we listen to music and play board games or go
for walks,” says Karen. “The children love playing outside.” The
materials and textures used both indoors and on the deck make
for a seamless feel across the spaces, while a midnight blue chair
in the bedroom (opposite) adds a colour contrast (try Matt Blatt
for similar). The outdoor wood-fired hot tub is another of Rudi’s

when night falls. “Everyone loves a warm soak. Add the perfect
