THE SARTORIALIST INDIA
Scott Schuman and Bandana
Tewari; £60, Taschen

Better known as The Sartorialist,
photographer and fashion
blogger Scott Schuman spent
over a decade visiting India’s
markets, festivals and cricket
fields to capture portraits of
some of the country most dapper
dressers. His images feature
people from all walks of life,
from this goat herder in
Rajasthan (pictured right)
to style-conscious urbanites
sporting their own take on
traditional clothing such as the
sari or turban. The photos are full
of character, and run alongside
thoughtful essays by the former
editor-at-large of Vogue India,
Bandana Tewari.
