Creamy Noodle Casserole
My husband frequently doesn’t
get home until past 7 o’clock.
This casserole is ideal for those
late nights—it’s just as yummy after
it ’s been w armed in the microw ave.

Ta ke s: 25 min. • Makes: 8 servings
1 pkg. (12 oz .) egg noodles
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen
broccoli cuts
3 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 cup shredded part-skim
mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded
Parmesan cheese
¹₃ cup butter, cubed
¹₂ cup half-and-half cream
¹₄ tsp. each garlic powder,
salt and pepper
- In a Dutch oven, cook the egg
noodles in boiling water 5 minutes.
Add the broccoli and cubed ham;
cook until the noodles are tender,
5-10 minutes longer.
2. Drain; return to the pan. Stir in
the remaining ingredients. Cook
and stir gently over low heat until
the butter is melted and the mixture
is heated through.
FREEZE OPTION Freeze cooled noodle
mixture in freezer containers. To use,
partially thaw in refrigerator overnight.
Microwave, covered, on high until
heated through, gently stirring; add
a little broth or milk if necessary.
