DRAKE’S ‘PEAK’
PERFORMANCES
Insightful chart-watcher
Pablo Nelson of
Oakland, Calif., wrote in,
wondering: Given the
187 Billboard Hot 100
entries by Drake
(above) — the most
among soloists — at
what positions on the
chart hasn’t he peaked?
The answer reveals yet
another superlative:
Drake has peaked at
84 of the Hot 100’s
ranks (including Nos. 1
through 10), the most
of any artist. The Glee
cast ranks second with
peaks at 80 positions,
followed by Lil Wayne
(72). The song that
piqued Pablo’s interest
enough to warrant more
than a peek at Drake’s
Hot 100 history? “Peak,”
which peaked at No. 38
on July 14. —Gary Trust
