Puerto Rican trap singer
Anuel AA (above) spends
his second week at No. 1 on
Top Latin Albums with his
debut, Real Hasta la Muerte,
following its first full week
of tracking. The set debuted
at No. 1 on the July 28 list
after an abbreviated release
week (ending July 19), as it
arrived July 17 — the same
day he was released from
prison.
The LP holds at No. 1
with 13,000 equivalent
album units earned in the
week ending July 26 (up
10 percent), according to
Nielsen Music. That sum is
the fourth-largest week for
a Latin album in 2018.
Anuel AA also holds
four slots on Hot Latin
Songs, led by “Brindemos,”
featuring Ozuna (No 19).
Elsewhere on Hot Latin
Songs, Karol G notches her
second top 10 and highest-
charting entry on the tally,
as “Mi Cama,” with J Balvin
featuring Nicky Jam, rises
12-9 in its ninth week. She
first hit the top 10 with the
No. 10-peaking “Ahora Me
Llama,” with Bad Bunny,
last November. The new
track becomes Balvin’s 15th
top 10 and Nicky Jam’s 14th.
Atop Hot Latin Songs
are familiar faces, as Luis
Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s
“Despacito” (featuring Justin
Bieber) returns to No. 1 for
the first time since April, for
a record-extending 53rd
week.
Finally, Calibre 50 arrives
at No. 5 on Top Latin
Albums with Mitad y Mitad
— the act’s 11th top 10. On
Regional Mexican Albums,
the set bows at No. 1,
granting the group its
seventh chart-topper. All
of its leaders have been in
a row, stretching back to
2014’s Contigo.
