JORDAN LOVE
UTAH STATE (6’ 4", 225 POUNDS)
A polarizing prospect, Love has
a blend of arm strength and
athleticism to match anyone’s.
But a new coaching staff and
struggling supporting cast led to
a rocky 2019. “A year ago, I liked

an NFC team. “Quick release, strong
arm, athletic. But there are a lot
of little things at quarterback. It’s
decision-making, calls at the line,
processing quicker, not forcing the
ball. There’s a lot of his game that
needs to be cleaned up....I’m not

Adds an AFC quarterbacks coach:
“There are some things you can’t
coach. He makes off-platform
throws, throws off his back foot.
He’s got the arm talent to do it.”
DRAFT RANGE: Pick 5 to 30
JACOB EASON
WASHINGTON (6' 6", 230 POUNDS)
Once one of the most highly
regarded recruits in the nation,
Eason transferred to Washington
after losing his starting job to
Jake Fromm at Georgia. “He looks
and feels like the traditional pocket
passer,” says an AFC quarterbacks
coach. “He doesn’t have great
feel [in the pocket], doesn’t have
great movement. He’s got dead
feet. But he can rip throws....His
most impressive plays are when the
pocket’s clean. When he’s protected,
he can do it. But these types of
guys are great when you get them
in shorts, then you get them in
preseason and you say,
‘He’s regressing.’ Well, he’s not,
it’s a different game....It feels
like he has a stiff game.”
DRAFT RANGE: Pick 16 to 50
JAKE FROMM
GEORGIA (6' 2", 220 POUNDS)
Despite average arm strength and
athleticism, Fromm leapfrogged
the incumbent Eason to earn the
starting job as a true freshman, and
later held off the No. 1 recruit, local
high school legend Justin Fields.
“Beating out Eason and Fields

outworked both of them. He could
handle the volume of the offense.
[ Teammates] loved him. Probably
as good a quarterback makeup as
I’ve seen since Andrew Luck....He’ll
be somewhere between a really
good backup and a good, average
starter. I don’t think he can get
to you to the Super Bowl, but I
wouldn’t be surprised if he winds
up there somehow.”
