come to realise there are one or two
pluses about being in lockdown – not
having to get dressed, brush our hair
or trowel on make-up being just a few!
But what we’re enjoying most about
self-isolation is watching a growing
number of celebs get creative and
really bring the lols on social media.
It feels like every time we scroll through
Instagram, another star is either spilling
the beans, breaking into song or just
being a bit daft for our amusement.
Over the past week alone we’ve been
treated to Justin Bieber doing a live
chat with Avengers: Endgame actor
Tom Holland, Strictly favourite Janette
Manrara gossiping with co-star Neil
Jones and the hilarious Bobby Cole
Norris interviewing celeb pals including
Jacqueline Jossa, Charlotte Dawson
and Ferne McCann. (Careful, Bob –
you’ll be doing us out of a job!)
All this social media sharing is
giving us an insight into celebs’ lives
like never before – plus we’re getting
to see, first hand, how the stars are
coping in lockdown.
Some are cooking, some are
busy entertaining their kids and
some even seem to be ditching
TV for retro games and puzzles.
No, we never thought we’d see
Jess Wright keeping her brain
busy with a jigsaw gifted to
her by sister-in-law Michelle
Keegan, either!
One that’s really made us
smile is pop legend Gary
Barlow’s “crooner
sessions” on YouTube,
which have seen the star
duet with the likes of Olly
Murs, Beverley Knight
and Rick Astley. Our fave so
far? Gaz and Jason Donovan’s
cheery rendition of Jase’s 1989
hit Too Many Broken Hearts.
What a joy to behold.
