(^) I’M ON FIRE
Bruce Springsteen admitted in his Broadway
show that he’s “never held an honest job in my
entire life!” Not the case for his son Sam, who
recently joined the Jersey City Fire Department.
Sam, 25, was sworn in to became a firefighter
after joining the department as a trainee over
the summer. “We’re very proud,” said Bruce,
who was on hand, mingling easily with Sam’s
new co-workers. Meanwhile, there are strong
indications that Springsteen is getting back to
work on his first LP with the E Street Band since
2009, recording a set of new songs at his home
studio in New Jersey and gearing up for a release
at some point in 2020. “I wrote almost an album’s
worth of material for the band,” he recently said.
“It just came out of almost nowhere.”
